Man betrays brother after caught with drugs at airport in Dubai

A man was detained after Dubai Airport customs officials found over a thousand drug capsules in his possession.     The African national was questioned by the airport officials after he was acting suspiciously.  They opened his hand luggage and found the capsules in plain sight, atop his things.  After analyzing the substance, they discovered 1,120 capsules of Pregabalin. KUWAIT CITY, April 30: An Arab woman slashed her wrists following an argument with her husband, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, the woman was referred to Mubarak Hospital following the incident. Souk Juma crackdown

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: Personnel from the Farwaniya Security Directorate, consisting of commanders, officers and police, launched an extensive security crackdown on the Friday market and surrounding areas on the background of a video clip that was posted in the social media showing Special Forces and military uniforms offered for sale in the market, reports Al-Rai daily. Kuwaiti woman held captive in chalet; attempt to rape

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing a male compatriot of holding her captive in one of the chalets in the south of the country, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspect allegedly wanted to forcibly marry her and during a scuffle as the woman tried in vain to escape she was injured in the upper lip. She also accused the man of attempting to rape her. A case has been registered against the man.

Four injured after jumping from burning flat

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: Four individuals sustained fractures and injuries when they jumped from a burning flat on second floor of a building in Salmiya area, says Al- Seyassah. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the flat on fire, firefighters rushed to the location with paramedics and securitymen. KUWAIT CITY, April 30: Acting on information police rushed to an unidentified open area in downtown Kuwait city and took into custody several young men and women who were disturbing residents of the area by playing loud music on their car radios and dancing and laughing, reports Al-Rai daily. However, they were released after they signed a pledge not to repeat the offense. The security source stressed action will be taken against those who disturb others or gather in open areas for whatever reason.
