Municipality raids Farwaniya and Jleeb – Arrested shop owners to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: Kuwait Municipality personnel conducted a raid in Farwaniya governorate, including Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh recently to confiscate abandoned cars, demolish any kind of encroachments on government property. The campaign also including closure of makeshift shops and seizure of all items, new or old put up for sale there. Some arrests were made as most owners of the shops fled as the raid started. Hunt for Police imposter

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Police are looking for unidentified man in uniform for impersonating police, reports Al-Rai daily. The ‘police officer’ was seen walking arrogantly in a commercial complex, sat in a café and told the worker he is police officer which prompted their suspicion because workers are fully aware that security officers do not reveal their identity. The fake officer also behaved inconsiderately and upset visitors who together with workers called police, however the impersonator had left before police arrived. Records of CCTV cameras shall be seen to identify the impersonator.

2 stabbed to death for making fun of coworker in UAE

A man has been accused of stabbing two of his flatmates stabbed to death in Sharjah. The Asian suspect had been with his flatmates at the workers' accommodation when an argument took place between him and the other two men. He claimed they were making fun of him. The argument escalated until he stabbed them.  The man confessed that he did have a knife with him but denied stabbing the victims. Driver molests 8-year-old student inside Dubai school bus

A school bus driver faced trial for allegedly molesting an 8-year-old girl in Dubai. The court gave him a three-month jail sentence. The Court of First Instance heard how the 33-year-old Pakistani driver hugged and kissed the little girl on her cheeks, head and hand. He is also accused of grabbing the victim by the cheek. He denied the molestation charge in court. The court found him guilty and ordered hime to be deported after completing his jail term. UAE expat to be deported for WhatsApp voice notes

Ajman Criminal Court sentenced a 36-year-old Asian man to three months imprisonment, Dh5,000 fine for insulting a company's representative via WhatsApp messages. The expat will be deported after the completion of his sentence. According to Al Bayan's report, the victim said that the accused man insulted him and threatened him in a voice note on WhatsApp, saying that he will murder him, along with other insults, including those directed towards his religion. Drunk man poses as government officer to resist police arrest in UAE

An Arab man is on trial at Sharjah Criminal Court for drinking alcohol, drug abuse, impersonation and resisting police arrest. Emarat al Youm reported that after receiving information about the accused's abnormal misbehaviour, the police tracked down his location and tried to arrest him. 4 women lure Dubai driver with massage card, steal Dh60,300

Four women, who kept a man against his will inside a flat and robbed Dh60,300 from him, were sentenced to six months in jail each on Monday by a Dubai court.
