Man caught with drugs at DXB, says they were for his brother

A man was detained after Dubai Airport customs officials found over a thousand drug capsules in his possession.     The African national was questioned by the airport officials after he was acting suspiciously.  They opened his hand luggage and found the capsules in plain sight, atop his things.  After analyzing the substance, they discovered 1,120 capsules of Pregabalin. Man gets life sentence in murder made to look like suicide

The Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court has upheld a life sentence and blood money of Dh200,000 issued by the lower court against an African man convicted of killing his colleague. The court cleared the defendant of the charge of attempted suicide by taking poison used for killing cattle bugs following his premeditated crime.
