Worker threatens to slit woman's throat for Dh2,000 in Dubai

A construction worker has been charged at the Dubai Court of First Instance after he allegedly threatened to slit a countrywoman's throat for Dh2,000. Prosecutors accused the 45-year-old Vietnamese worker of making criminal threats and blackmailing the victim. The case dates back to June 6 and was registered at Al Muraqqabat police station.
