Police arrest beggar with Dh10,000 in UAE

Sharjah Police arrested a beggar woman with Dh10,000 in her possession on Tuesday. The woman had begged at five shops in the area before she was arrested, as per an Al Bayan report. Colonel Ibrahim Musabeh Al Aghal, director of the criminal investigation department of Sharjah Police, called on vendors to report such incidents. People must report such behavior in order to curb the phenomenon in the emirate, or else they will be considered culpable, he said. He asked the public not to sympathise with such persons, be they women or men, as they prey on people's goodwill and emotions....

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: A policeman who was previously dismissed from service for committing several felonies and using drugs was arrested for impersonating police and possessing drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. Pay Kuwaiti citizen, real-estate firm told

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: The Court of First Instance has obligated a real estate company to pay SAR 450,000 or its equivalent in Kuwaiti currency to a Kuwaiti citizen, and terminated the signed contracts for establishment of real estate portfolios because the company swindled the citizen. KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: The Ministry of Interior yesterday released more than 150 Bangladeshi workers who protested in front of their embassy for not receiving their salaries after it was proved they had no connection with the riot, reports Al-Rai daily. Italian arrested in Salmiya for failing to pay finance

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an unidentified Italian who was wanted by law in connection with two financial claims and had been sentenced in absentia, reports Al-Anba daily. Police investigations revealed the 62-year-old Italian was holed up inside an apartment in Salmiya. Deported Egyptian tries to enter Kuwait on a forged passport

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: Security operatives at Kuwait International Airport foiled an attempt by an Egyptian passenger to enter the country on a forged passport after he was deported earlier due to immoral behavior.
