Police arrest beggar with Dh10,000 in UAE

The Sharjah Police nabbed an Asian woman beggar - who wore an abaya and posed as an Emirati - while recovering Dh10,000 from her possession.   Colonel Ibrahim Al Ajl, director of criminal investigation department, said the Asian woman used to visit shops in a commercial area and made a good amount of money. The shopkeepers didn't bother to inform the police about the illegal practice even though they should have, he added. KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Family Court of First Instance has granted an expatriate female doctor divorce from her mandoub husband with her full Islamic rights and protection from verbal and physical attacks by her husband. The counsel to the doctor Lawyer Khawlah Al-Hassawi explained that her client’s husband was fond of attacking her client verbally and physically. KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) announced Tuesday that the body of the missing dead worker who was lost under the debris of collapsed shelves in a warehouse belonging to a major company in the Salmi area has been found. Pakistani truck driver caught smuggling 6 people into Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Security officers at the Salmi border crossing recently foiled the attempt of a Pakistani truck driver to smuggle six people (three Pakistanis, a Bangladeshi and an Egyptian) into Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
