The Apple Watch Series 4 will come in gold, silver and space gray and will start at $399.  Here's a rundown of the specs: A nearly edge-to-edge...

Earlier this month, it was reported that sources familiar with Foxconn’s plans stated that Apple will begin producing the iPhone X series of handsets in India. Now, Foxconn Technology Group chairman Terry Gou has stated that the company will begin mass producing Apple’s iPhone in India, a shift from China which has been producing the handsets all this while. Reports state that Gou has been invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to India as Foxconn plans to expand in the country. For a few years, Apple’s iPhone SE has been produced in India and the company plans to produce more...

German bosses urge government to stop EU proposal on connected cars

The bosses of BMW and Deutsche Telekom have urged the German government to take action to block a European Commission proposal that would set a Wi-Fi-based standard for connected cars. In a letter, BMW CEO Harald Krueger and Telekom’s Tim Hoettges warned that ruling out an alternative approach based on 5G mobile networks would leave Europe lagging rivals like China when it comes to the future of mobility. “We are convinced that mandating Wi-Fi technology will cause significant delay to the European rollout of car-to-car and car-to-infrastructure communication,” the CEOs said in the letter to Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer, a...

Microsoft admits Outlook.com hackers accessed email accounts

In what could spell reputational damage for Microsoft, the company has admitted that its Outlook.com security breach, which was revealed over the weekend, was far worse for some than others. Microsoft admitted that hackers were able to access accounts for months earlier this year and they could have viewed not only account addresses, folder names, and subject lines of the emails, but also viewed the content of the emails, The Verge reported. The company has started notifying affected users, which it believes to be a ‘small group’. However, there is no clarity on how many users had their accounts compromised....
