Malaysia eyes Dubai to explore region’s markets

DUBAI / WAM The Malaysian Franchise Association has chosen Dubai and the 3rd edition of “The Global Franchise Market Exhibition” (TGFM) to explore the emerging and lucrative markets in the Middle East and North Africa region, connect with local, regional and international franchisors and brand owners and expand their businesses within the region.TGFM, the official franchising event in Dubai, brings together leading investors, master franchisees, licensees, entrepreneurs, and leading brands, and it is expected to attract over 2,000 visitors and participants and witness the presence of over 100 leading brands from 80 countries.

Fujairah Ruler continues receiving Eid well-wishers

FUJAIRAH, 5th June, 2019 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah continued receiving Eid al-Fitr well-wishers at Al Rumaila Palace on Wednesday. In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Hamad received a number of Sheikhs and officials who congratulated him on the occasion and wished him good health and more progress and prosperity for the UAE. Ambassador of Yemen to the UAE Fahad Saeed Al Menhali, and a number of other dignitaries also met Sheikh Hamad and exchanged Eid greetings.

Coca-Cola Arena to open its doors to public tomorrow

The latest entertainment centre in Dubai - the Coca-Cola Arena - will open its doors to the public tomorrow (June 6) with a live show by comedian Russell Peters and followed by a concert by Maroon 5 on June 14. 3 Emirati children, nanny die in UAE road accident

Three Emirati children and a nanny died while their mother, who was driving the car, sustained critical injuries after their speeding vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a lamp post in  Abu Dhabi's Al Falah district on the first day of Eid al-Fitr. Delhi Metro becomes India's first project to receive power from waste-to-energy plant

NEW DELHI, 5th June, 2019 (WAM) -- The metro rail in India's capital has achieved a milestone in its efforts to establish an environment-friendly network. Delhi Metro has become the first ever metro project in India to receive power generated from a waste-to-energy plant, Asian News International, ANI, reported on Wednesday.
