UAE weather forecast for Eid Al Adha holidays

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted that weather over the coming days in the UAE will be hazy and humid with an increase in temperature. UAE police issue advisory for motorists during Eid holidays

Abu Dhabi motorists have been urged to abide by the traffic laws during the Eid Al Adha holidays. The UAE has declared Eid holidays from Saturday, August 10 until Tuesday, August 13 for that public and private sector workers in the country. UAE shuts down 115 websites, social media accounts

Fraudsters, illegal online sellers and promoters better watch out. Abu Dhabi's Department of Economic Development (DED) just shut down 115 websites and social media accounts for selling counterfeit products and committing commercial fraud. In May this year, the UAE's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) also blocked 267 websites for fraud, and offensive and obscene content. At least 117 (43.8 per cent) of the blocked websites were used for fraud while 115 of the blocked websites (43.1 per cent) hosted pornographic content. Most of the money exchange houses in the UAE are witnessing a rush with the surge in remittance by the expat population to their home countries. The spiralling queues affirm that the rush is more this year compared to last year.
