Worker injured at work in UAE gets Dh1.5 million compensation

The Abu Dhabi Court of Cassation has ordered a construction company to compensate a worker with Dh1.5 million after an iron fence from a building under construction fell on him. The cleaner was on his way to work when the iron fence fell on him, leaving him with multiple injuries. He suffered serious injuries to his thoracic vertebrae and paralysis of the lower limbs, Emarat Al Youm reported. Mohamed bin Zayed Iftar Campaign begins in Morocco

UAE Embassy in Beirut trains Syrian refugees to weave 'Arsali' carpets

BEIRUT, 14th May, 2019 (WAM) -- The Humanitarian and Development Affairs Mission of the UAE Embassy in Beirut conducted a training course on weaving Arsali heritage carpets, supported by the Sharjah Charity House and in cooperation with the Relief and Humanitarian Aid Authority of Dar Al Fatwa in Lebanon.
