UAE leaders congratulate Bolivian President on Independence Day

ABU DHABI, 6th August, 2019 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratulations to Juan Evo Morales, President of Bolivia, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day, which is marked on 6th August. Former Dubai-based journalist Jawahar Chhoda passes away

Veteran UAE-based journalist Jawahar Chhoda, 58, who had been suffering from a lung ailment for a while, breathed his last at 7.30am on August 5 at Mumbai's Raheja Hospital.The former Dubai resident, who was immensely popular among the city's movers and shakers in the 90s and early 2000, had moved to Mumbai in 2018. Dubai store vendor kisses 5-year-old girl, takes her photos

A supermarket vendor has been charged at the Dubai Court of First Instance with molesting a five-year-old girl. Dubai prosecutors accused the 38-year-old Indian man of kissing the girl on the cheek, taking advantage that her parents were not with her at the time. The worker denied the charge in court when he was brought from detention.The incident was reported on June 3 at Al Rashidiya police station. Two women have been charged with assault over an argument about a parking space

A man’s two wives physically and verbally attacked each other, with one threatening to set fire to the other’s car if she didn’t remove her car from the villa parking in Dubai this week.  Both wives are Iranian nationals, aged 37 and 25, are charged with assault and are also accused of verbally abusing each other.
