From October of this year, anyone living in the UAE can lease and fly an electric aircraft, provided they receive proper training, as per the Academy of Technical Training, ATT, standards. Early dismissal all summer long for public schools

Now, before you get excited, let’s be clear: This new schedule only applies to public schools and those that follow the MoE curriculum. Classes have been shortened from 45 minutes to 40 minutes, students have been given three minutes to move between classes and morning assemblies have also been removed to reduce hours during the hot summer months. DXB pledges to ban single-use plastics

Dubai Airports, DXB, on Monday announced its pledge to ban single-use plastics from consumer spaces at the world's busiest international airport effective January 1, 2020. Every year Dubai Airports recycles over 43,000 tonnes of paper, glass, and other waste to limit its impact on the environment. Over the past six months alone, Dubai Airports collected and disposed of 16 tonnes of single-use plastic bottles and bottle caps. Dubai launches new circular marine service

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a new circular marine line served by Dubai Ferry starting from Sheikh Zayed Road Station. Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) issued an order to close two food establishments in Al Ain, Zakhar Restaurant and Confectionary with license number (CN-1102951) and Dafra Sweets with license number (CN-1102951) for violating health codes despite previous warnings.
