Kuwaiti held for stealing his neighbor

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have taken into custody an unidentified Kuwaiti for stealing valuables from the Diwaniya of his neighbor, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came after the Kuwaiti filed a complaint with the area police station and said his belongings were in the Diwaniya and within half an hour of his absence his valuables were stolen. Man stabbed to death over bootlegging brawl in UAE

An Asian man was stabbed to death during a fight over bootlegging business in Sharjah industrial area 5. When alerted of the incident, an emergency team arrived on site to find the victim in a pool of blood. He was taken to Al Kuwaiti Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Eyewitnesses told the Sharjah Police that the victim was stabbed following arguments with his compatriots. One of them took a knife and stabbed him multiple times and then fled the scene. Fake ‘brigadier’ summoned

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Police have summoned an unidentified man for interrogation. The man claimed to be ‘brigadier’, insulting a Kuwaiti woman and hurling abuses at her in front of passersby and other motorists because of a traffic dispute, reports Al-Rai daily. Kuwaiti mom and daughter arrested for assaulting polyclinic employee

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti woman and her daughter for assaulting and insulting an employee of a government polyclinic in the Farwaniya Governorate for unknown reasons, reports Al-Rai daily. In her complaint to the area police station, the employee said she was on duty and the two women assaulted her for unknown reasons. Consumer protection – 167 citations, 230 warnings issued

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Assistant Undersecretary for Observation and Consumer Protection Affairs at Ministry of Commerce and Industry Eid Al-Rasheedi revealed that he recommended the reduction of 15,734 items during the holy month of Ramadan, reports Al-Seyassah daily. He indicated that a total of 167 citations and 230 warnings were issued against various violations as well as 970 inquiries were received during the first ten days of Ramadan. Campaign against unhygienic places

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Department of Public Hygiene and Road Usage at Hawally Municipality launched an inspection campaign covering several areas of the governorate, which resulted in the lifting of 34 abandoned vehicles and 13,500 cubic meters of garbage. In a press release, acting Director of the department Nawaf Al-Mutairi said the campaign also resulted in the issuance of four citations against hygiene-related violations, cleaning of 400 garbage containers and placing warning stickers on 40 abandoned vehicles.
