Worker films flat mate in shower, shares on WhatsApp in UAE

A Pakistani man allegedly filmed his flatmate as he was taking a shower and shared the clip on WhatsApp. The victim, also a Pakistani, knew about it when his friends back home sent him the clips. The 30-year-old defendant, who works as a carpet cleaner, denied charges of sexual assault and invasion of privacy at the Dubai Court of First Instance. Kuwaiti having travel ban seized on airport

KUWAIT CITY, July 3: An unidentified Kuwaiti who was wanted by law has been arrested and referred to the Criminal Investigation Department, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspect was arrested at the Kuwait International Airport when he was about to leave for summer vacation after authorities discovered there was a travel ban on him. He was reportedly wanted by law in a kidnapping case. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Saudi national held over rape, robberies in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested an unidentified Saudi who was wanted by law in 15 different cases about armed robberies, money extortion, rape, abduction and others, reports Al-Rai daily. When police, acting on a tip-off and armed with an arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, went to arrest the man in his home, he resisted violently and attempted to assault the police, but he was overpowered, handcuffed and taken to the police station.
