Dubai's Emirates announces change in leadership roles

Dubai-based Emirates on Wednesday announced a change in leadership roles for its operational, commercial and international affairs functions.Adel Al Redha has been appointed chief operating officer, Adnan Kazim is chief commercial officer and Sheikh Majid Al Mualla is divisional senior vice president, international affairs.Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group, commented on the new appointments: "Adel, Adnan and Sheikh Majid are all experienced members of the Emirates leadership team with strong expertise in their respective areas and proven leadership abilities. Big Issue sellers to accept contactless payments

Sellers of the Big Issue are now able to accept contactless card payments. The magazine sold by people who are homeless worked with financial tech company iZettle on the initiative after a trial scheme in five cities.
