Weekly poll: What cameras do you use the most on your phone?

Excluding the odd iPhone XR or Pixel, every phone is doing the multi camera thing (and even those two are getting a second snapper soon). And that brings a lot of discussion as to which cameras we care about the most. Phones like the rumored Google Pixel 4 or the existing Samsung Galaxy S10e are great examples of the difference in taste when it comes to photography. The Pixel 4 will gain a telephoto camera instead of an ultrawide, while the Galaxy S10e has an ultrawide in place of a telephoto and that inevitably leaves people unhappy. The solution is...

Weekly poll results: Samsung Galaxy Note10+ better liked than the small Note10

Last week we asked you a few questions. Are you getting a Samsung Galaxy Note10+ or Galaxy Note10 and if you would pay the premium for a 5G model or stick with LTE. Now the results are in and they are a bit surprising. Last year 19% half of you said they'd get a Galaxy Note9 but this year the results are flipped. Half of you said they're looking at competing phones, rather than the Galaxy Note10 duo. The larger Galaxy Note10+ is generally received better with 45% of you either committing to buy or wait for the price to...

Samsung Galaxy Note10+ in for review, camera samples inside

This is the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ - Samsung's fall flagship, its biggest screen phone so far and right now, its most important phone. The Galaxy Note10+ is an amalgamation of Samsung's best assets - it comes with three incredible cameras, a record-breaking screen, and certainly the best phone with a stylus. It's the most complete smartphone experience Samsung can offer and here's why. Whether you look at the Galaxy Note10+ from the front or the back, it's a gorgeous phone. The Aura Glow finish is a chameleon changing countless hues, depending on how the light hits it. And when you...

The upcoming vivo NEX 3 will support 5G

Vivo's product manager, Li Xiang, just can't stop teasing the still unannounced vivo NEX 3 flagship smartphone. He already confirmed that the handset will have a "waterfall screen" and will retain the much-beloved 3.5mm audio jack. He was also bold enough to share some sketches of the phone's design. Today's order of the day, however, is 5G. The manager shared a partial screenshot of the home screen and it's hard not to notice the two 5G icons in the upper-left and the upper-right corner. Then again, the device will likely sport the newest Snapdragon 855+ chip, so it's only natural...

Nokia 7.2 renders show off the circular camera design and slim body

While we are still waiting for the Nokia 7.2 and 6.2 to be officially announced, we get to see the former in the latest case renders that surfaced online. The images show a rather slim design and a circular design of the camera module on the back. Everything on the renders seems to be in line with what we've seen so far. We also know that the Nokia 6.2 will sport similar looks so these renders work both ways. Nokia 7.2 case renders A quick rewind - we expect the handset to arrive with Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM and...

Huawei Mate X shows up on TENAA, inches closer to launch

Huawei officially confirmed that the Mate X release date has been pushed back until November. Still, the company's official said there's a slight chance that it could be delayed further if something goes wrong. Today the phone passed through TENAA indicating that everything is going as planned. Images from the TENAA listing The handset showed up on a TENAA listing with pictures, specs and everything. The specs have little value to us since we already know what to expect in terms of hardware, whereas the photos of the device don't seem to be all that revealing too. We will need...

Alleged Redmi 8 appears on TENAA with full specs

An unknown Redmi smartphone, bearing model number M1908C3IC and said to be the Redmi 8, has appeared on TENAA with its images and full specs. The smartphone is built around a 6.21" display having a resolution of 1520x720 pixels. The screen is turned off so we can't see the bezels at the top and sides clearly, but we can see that the phone has a thicker chin with a Redmi branding. The presence of an 8MP selfie camera at the top also confirms the display has a notch. Around the back, the phone has a dual camera setup aligned vertically...

Realme 5 Pro passes through Geekbench revealing key specs

The Realme 5 arriving on August 20 passed through Geekbench a few days ago, revealing its key specs such as Snapdragon 665 SoC and 4GB RAM. Now another Realme device, which is likely the Realme 5 Pro, has appeared on Geekbench. The listing reveals some of the specs - Android Pie, Snapdragon 710 SoC and 8GB RAM. The Snapdragon 710 is the same chipset that powers the Realme 3 Pro. It's worth noting that benchmarks often get the specs wrong, and according to the previous rumors, the Realme 5 Pro will have Snapdragon 712 SoC, so we will have to...

Nokia 9 PureView is $200 off once again

Last month during Amazon's huge Prime Day event, the Nokia 9 PureView was selling for just $499.99, $200 off its usual price. The price went back up afterwards, but we're happy to report that it's dropped again, to the same $499.99 level. The deal is live at Amazon, Best Buy, as well as B&H, but it is likely to be a limited-time offer only, so make sure you don't waste any time if you want to take advantage of it. At Best Buy you can even save an additional $50, grabbing the phone for a mere $449.99, if you choose...

Apple Watch Series 5 is coming this fall, analyst claims

Famous analyst of all things Apple Ming-Chi Kuo has published another research note today, and this one is about the Apple Watch Series 5, which is apparently going to launch this fall. That's interesting because so far we haven't seen many leaks about Apple's next-gen wearable. If Kuo is right (and he generally is right more than wrong), then we might see the Watch Series 5 make its debut alongside the iPhone 11 at Apple's big fall event, which could take place on September 10. The Apple Watch Series 5 and its successors will start to use displays from JDI....

3.3-inch Palm is now available unlocked for $349

TCL revived the long-dead Palm brand last year to launch the minuscule (for this day and age) Palm phone, which has a tiny 3.3" touchscreen and runs Android. Initially this was billed as a companion device to your smartphone when it launched exclusively at Verizon. In the meantime, it became available standalone from Big Red, and back in June Palm started taking pre-orders for an unlocked version. Almost two months later, today that model has finally become available to buy. You'll need to shell out $349 for the privilege of owning possibly the smallest smartphone around. You have Titanium and...
